It’s not just adults marching for science on April 22. In Boston, younger students will be standing up for science at the Parkman Bandstand on Boston Common. Among the participants there will be Science Cheerleader Samantha, who’s studying pharmaceutical research at University of Connecticut.

The (adults’) March for Science will be on the Common at the corner of Beacon and Charles Streets. The Kids’ Corner will operate from 2 to 4 p.m.  The stage show is 1-2 p.m. and Sam will be the first one on after the emcee. She’ll be on stage for only about five minutes, so if you miss her at the start of the show, she will be back at the end to lead a “dance party.” After that, you can find her at the table for Gique.me (founded by another Science Cheerleader, Danielle) to sign autographs and take photos.

Don’t miss this opportunity to march, cheer, and–why not?–dance for science!

Samantha
