Attention, attention!

The Science Cheerleaders will be back in Austin for UT Austin’s STEM Girl Day!

When: Saturday, February 24, 2024, from 11:30 a.m. til 4:00 p.m. CT

Where: The University of Texas at Austin campus

What: This is a FREE event where elementary and middle school students, families, and educators can do hands-on science, technology, engineering, and math (STEM) fun.

UT Austin’s national award-winning STEM Girl Day recruitment program, presented by Women in STEM (WiSTEM), gives K-8th graders a chance to explore STEM through grade-appropriate, hands-on activities hosted by scientists, engineers, astronomers, mathematicians and other STEM enthusiasts from student organizations, research centers, corporate partners and community organizations. All genders are welcome!

The Science Cheerleaders will be leading hands-on STEM activities, leading science cheers, and taking pictures in the STEM photobooth. Stop by to make a binary coded bracelet or a DNA keychain and cheer for science!
